Some days, I'm not a very good mom
This is hard to say. But it's true. Some days, I'm not a very good mom. Those days, I DON'T do my best. And while I appreciate all of the wonderful friends who are quick to reassure me, "it's okay, you're human", I always have to be careful to ensure that doesn't become a trap, letting me off the hook day after day. Happily Ever After
A letter I wrote to my wonderful daughters (and to anyone else who stops to read): I wish for you each to see in life your "happily ever after". Yes, I believe in Happily Ever After. Not the fairytale kind, where a prince sweeps you off your feet, and you head off into the sunset with nary a concern ever again. But an even better kind...
